I have been telling everybody to make a part of your monthly savings in gold and/or silver. This month it has really paid off! Gold has gone up about $80.00 per ounce!! ALASKA CRUISE REVISITED

My brother, Russell, has a Cannon 10mp Camera with a terrific telescopic lens. He went with us on our Alaska Cruise and was able to photograph pictures that I couldn't get with my smaller camera. Some of his pictures are fantastic! He was able to shoot rapid shots of a whale breaching and a mommy bear playing with her cub.

This was the spectacular scene from our house balcony tonight. This place is like a piece of heaven!

ALASKA CRUISE

We just got back to Oregon from our Alaskan cruise of the Inland Passage. We stopped at Juneau, Skagway, Ketchekan, Tracy Arm Glacier, and Victoria, B.C. It was simply spectacular. I agree with the great natuaralist of the previous century, John Muir, when he wrote, "See everything in the world first, and then visit Alaska last. It is the biggest and best of everything!"
