THE INCREDIBLES!

I just got new trifocal glasses--which is no big deal...but, THE BIG DEAL is the snap on new type poloroid sunglasses that I got with the trifocals. They told me that I would see the world in a whole different light. When I look in the water, they said I will be able to see fish that you can't see without the glasses because of the way these new-fangled sun glasses refract the light. Also, if there is any moisture in the atmosphere you will see it colored in the most beautiful rainbow hues. In other words dull scenery can become vivid colors if there is smog (fog and smoke) in the atmosophere or just plain unseen moisture.
I photographed a scene yesterday without my sunglasses on--then I shot the same scene with my special sunglasses placed over the lens of the camera, so you could see what I see! WOW!!

AN AWESOME GRANDSON

I was touched today looking at old pictures I ran across of students in our Mountain View Christian School in Douglas. I was struck by the fact that my grandson, Christopher DeCaro's personality really hasn't changed any since his Junior High Graduation in 1985! He still rocks!

THE GREATEST CHRISTMAS PROGRAM EVER!

The photos for this blog are on Flickr.com.

THE MOST WOW!! CHRISTMAS PROGRAM EVER

First Assembly of God, Phoenix, Arizona, really outdid everyone this year with their Christmas program. It was absolutely spectacular!! It was difficult to get good pictures with the building darkened, and they don't do justice to the magnitude of it all. Tens of thousands of people came to see the daily performances and hundreds received Christ as their Savior as they were moved by the story.

CHRISTIAN BOOKSTORE

We opened our new Christian Bookstore this last weekend. We had the largest storm of the season and few customers made their way to the Grand Opening. It is a small store at 725 N. Central, Avondale, Arizona, but has a nice variety of books, bibles, toys, gifts, music, and DVDs. Anyone receiving a coupon or mentioning one of our advertizements can receive up to 20% off all purchases between now and Christmas. All profits go to help Youth Organizations and other ministries.

EUROPEAN CRUISE

Our family recently returned from a fourteen day Mediterranean and European Cruise. It was fabulous! We had pizza in Rome for Thanksgiving Day. I was very impressed with the VERY RELIGIOUS art displayed in the Vatican.
