David, therefore, departed from there, and escaped to the cave, Adulam (which means ‘the place of rest’);
2. And every one who was in DISTRESS, and every one who was in DEBT, and every one who was DISCONTENTED, gathered themselves unto him; and he became captain (Czar) over them: and there were with him about four hundred men.
The Bible teaches that King David in the Old Testament was a type of Jesus (his descendant) in the New Testament. David was anointed King as a young man, but many years would pass before he was able to take the kingdom and sit upon his own throne. Jesus was anointed King and many years have passed before he will finally sit upon his forefather David’s throne.
While David was waiting for the time to come when he could occupy his throne, he encouraged the misfits of society that were in DISTRESS, in DEBT and DISCONTENTED, to come to him and find rest. The old King Saul of the present government establishment had no regard for these kinds of people. They were a burden on his society and he didn’t really want them. Those broken under too much STESS had to be cared for; those in DEBT had to be supported; those that were DISCONTENTED had to be dealt with as “rabble rousing rioters.” The establishment did not want them!
In the New Testament, Jesus said a similar thing to the misfits of society, “Come unto me all of you that are weary of life and burdened down and I will give you rest.”
The only way that David could help these troubled people was to become a Czar (captain, prince) to them. The Hebrew word Czar is used for David and his coming son, the Messiah, Jesus Christ. It is a term that means a Prince or Captain that holds complete dominion over all kings and all other leaders. Revelations 1:5-6, says that Jesus Christ will be made “the Czar (Prince) of the Kings of the earth.” In other words, these stressed out people wouldn’t go any place or do anything without finding out from David if it was OK. This total obedience was the only way he could radically change their lives. He saw them as successful and as leaders in the land even though they looked upon themselves as failures. When they allowed David to take control of their lives, he methodically delivered them from DISTRESS, DEBT, and DISCONTENTMENT, and helped them see themselves as successful leaders of society and not dismal failures. When you read the stories in II Chronicles, you will find that every one of those misfit failures that came to David were promoted to be the leaders of the nation when he took his kingdom and sat upon his throne!
God sees us not as we see ourselves. We see ourselves as not being “up to par” in many areas. God looks at us as the finished success that he is methodically constructing. We are his work in progress. If we will allow Jesus to become the Czar (Captain) over our lives, he will give us complete victory over the three deadly D’s.
The first “D” is DISTRESS. Doctors sometimes tell patients that they have to get away from stress or it is going to destroy them. That is crazy! Nobody can get away from stress. There is stress all around us—stress from the economy, stress from the work place, stress from relationships, and countless other things. The secret is to live in the stress but not become DISTRESSED (full of pressure, anxiety and worry). In Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, found in Matthew 5:25-34, he uses 228 words (more than any other subject) trying to show us how to overcome being worried or stressed out. He uses examples of plants and animals that don’t worry about where they live or where their next meal is coming from in order to show us that the loving heavenly Father cares for us even more than these, and if we recognize him as our Lord then he is going to supply all of our needs. Research has shown that becoming distressed with worry breaks down resistance to all diseases, retards our potential, and slowly destroys our very life. Jesus says, “I have come that you might have life, and a more abundant life!” John 10:10
The second “D” is DEBT. In the book of Proverbs God says, “The borrower becomes the slave of the lender.” Our loving Father doesn’t want any of his children to go through life being tortured with the weight of debt and being enslaved to the banks and lenders. Debt causes people to have to get extra jobs. Debt causes both husband and wife to have to work. Debt and the handling of money is the number one cause of marital problems. Debt is destroying our nation and our society. God wants his kids to lead carefree lives of love without owing anybody money. In the New Testament God says, “Owe no man anything, except love.” In Malachi 3:8-10 God promises to help us get out of debt and to bless us unbelievably if we will quit robbing him of his tithe (10 percent) of our income. If we will stop robbing God and pay our tithes and offerings, he says, “Test me and see if I won’t open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing that will be so great you won’t even have room enough to receive it!”
If we become faithful in giving God his 10 percent, he will show us how to budget the other 90 percent, and give us ideas for “clever inventions.” He will show us how to make money with less effort and send money to us from surprising sources.
The third “D” is being DISCONTENT. Discontentment comes from the failure of our plans. Many scriptures in the book of Proverbs address the need of asking God for counsel and instruction in our plans. God wants us to succeed in our plans and visions for the future if they are in alignment with his will for our lives. The ideal thing to do is to find out from God HIS plan for our life and once we know that plan we can pursue it with no fear of failure. When we pursue plans that don’t work out our lives can easily become filled with discontentment. In Proverbs 3:5-6 God shows us three steps to finding out his direction for our life and any plans we have. Once you are sure God is directing your visions and plans, don’t quit even if you seem to fail. Generally God will allow many frustrations and some failures to build and equip you. Even with setbacks and failures, do not become discontent or it can destroy what you would have eventually accomplished.
Some years ago a farmer discovered a gold nugget while plowing his land. He dug day after day looking for the gold vein that was the source of the nugget. This continued month after month and year after year. Finally after twenty years of failing to find the vein, the farmer became frustrated with his failure to find gold. Becoming discontent he decided to sell his farm. The day after escrow closed, the new purchaser of the farm commenced digging at the exact spot where the farmer had quit. He only dug one more foot until he hit one of the largest gold veins ever discovered in America! The farmer became discontent and quit only one foot from the incredible riches he was seeking!
What would you attempt in your life if you knew God was at your side and it was impossible to fail?
Many years ago, a young man had a burning desire to serve America and help with the great problems our country was facing. Everything he attempted seemed to fail but he would not allow discontentment to stop him from pursuing his goals.
In ’31 he failed in business. In ’32 he was defeated for a seat in the state legislature. In ’33 he failed in business for the second time. In ’35 his sweetheart and the love of his life died. It affected him so badly that in ’36 he had a complete nervous breakdown. In ’38 he was defeated for State Speaker of the House. In ’40 he was defeated for elector. In ’43 he was defeated for U.S. Congress. In ’48 he was defeated for U.S. Congress again. In ’55 he was defeated for a seat in the U.S. Senate. In ’56 he was defeated in his bid for Vice-president of the United States. In ’58 he was defeated for a seat in the U.S. Senate again. In ’60, after 30 years of continual defeats, he was elected PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, becoming our greatest hero-ABRAHAM LINCOLN!!
When Jesus comes and takes his kingdom and sits on his throne, all of us misfits that have come to him at the “place of rest,” will be appointed as the kings and priests over all creation including the trillions of angelic beings in the heavens. Daniel, speaking prophetically of the end time said, “The Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints (followers) of the Most High; and the time came that they possessed the kingdom…And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole HEAVEN, shall be given to the people of the Most High.” Daniel 7:22 and 27
In the Book of Revelation, the last book of the Bible, God tells us again about his great plan for our lives:
“Jesus Christ is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the Czar (Prince) over the kings of the earth. Praise unto him that loves us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood. And he has made us kings and priests unto God and his Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen! Revelation 1:5 and 6
BE FREE OF DISTRESS, DEBT AND DISCONTENTMENT. GOD HAS GREAT PLANS FOR US…NOW AND IN THE AGE TO COME!!

FREEDOM FROM DISTRESS, DEBT, DISCONTENTMENT

This Sunday I preached at the Abundant Life Center in Toledo, Oregon. About a dozen of us went on the trip for 3 days. It was fabulous! We visited little towns near the Columbia River in Oregon and Washington, with museums, old houses, and an observatory. We got to see wild turkeys, bison, deer, peacocks, and other assorted animals. We traveled at times on dirt and gravel roads and stayed in old hotels and ate at unique restaurants where few tourists ever visit. Most of the group was our age. We made wonderful friends and had one of the most fun times we can ever remember!

FROM SNOW TO TROPICS IN ONE DAY!

The Oregon Coast at Lincoln City is one of the most amazing places in the USA! His garage is nice enough to live in with a museum of extemely high price cars, service station memorabilia, and antique radios and old neon signs. You get to enjoy a pop at the bar while his antique juke box plays music from the 50's. He has eight classic cars at this house and another 30 plus at his Portland house. In addition there is a Schwin Motor Bicycle and a Skooter with a side-car. He has restored them all himself over the years and shows them at Pebble Beach. The Porch does a 115 MPH in second gear and the Shelby will make you drool. If it doesn't the Cuda certainly will, or the red T-Bird will put your feathers into a tailspin! I told him that I could stay there all day and play the juke box and dance around the incredible cars!!

BUY SILVER NOW!

I seldom put other peoples stuff on my blog, but this is an exception! I have known Jason for many years and he is considered one of the world's leading authorities on silver. I have followed what he has said for many years now he is always RIGHT ON!! I particularly urge all my family and friends to read this article because it can change your lives for the better. I already have a few family members who have listened to me over the last year and they are thrilled with their increase in net worth and eventual income. It has some technical stuff difficult for a novice to understand but I urge you to PLEASE READ IT ALL anyway!

Short Squeeze in Silver!
> (Commercials pay up!)
> Silver Stock Report
> by Jason Hommel, March 3, 2008
>
> What is a short squeeze?
>
> A short squeeze is one of the most exciting events in finance, and could drive
silver to $100/oz. very quickly! A short squeeze happens when those who
manipulate the market begin to act according to old Wall Street rhyme,
>
> "He who sells what isn't his'n, buys it back or goes to prison!"
>
> The silver shorts, who have been one of the key forces capping the price of
silver ever since 1980, are buying back the silver they sold, the silver that
they don't have, the silver that may not exist, and they are buying "contracts
for it" from people who might not have it either, in a rising market, because
the shorts have begun to panic.
>
> Another way to say it, is that the fat cats are beginning to wake up, repent
and change, and realize the error of their ways! Perhaps we are seeing the
inevitable failure of a 100+ year war of the international bankers, a war waged
against an inherent property of silver. But silver is a monetary metal, and the
failure to recognize that truth has consequences.
>
> Dan Norcini reports at http://www.jsmineset.com/ that the commercial shorts in
silver last week were "buying on the way up!"
>
> http://www.jsmineset.com/cwsimages/Miscfiles/5830_Charts_for_2-29-2008_COT.pdf
>
> The commercials are buying silver futures contracts from the category of
traders that is labeled "non reportable" which are mostly small capitalized
individuals, while the funds, or "speculators" have not changed their long
positions much.
>
> Short Squeeze definition:
>
> "Short squeezes result when short sellers cover their positions on a stock.
This can occur if the price has risen to a point where these people simply
decide to cut their losses and get out. Since covering their positions involves
buying shares, the short squeeze causes an ever further rise in the stock's
price, which in turn may trigger additional covering."
>
> See also:
>
> The reason why a short squeeze is so exciting is that in theory, there is no
limit to the upwards price movement, especially if there is a shortage.
>
> This is the kind of event that could drive silver prices to $100/oz. or higher
very quickly. The chance of such an event is higher now than ever before, in my
opinion.
>
> As of Feb 26th, the commercials are long 53,358 contracts, and short 126,584
contracts, for a net short position of 73,226. Multiplied by 5000 oz. per
contract, that's 366 million ounces of silver that they might need to buy back,
on the NYMEX alone.
>
> But NYMEX only has 87 million oz. of silver in the warehouses, registered for
delivery. http://www.nymex.com/warehouse.aspx
>
> Thus, there is a shortage. And as they shorts pay up, the shorts are getting
squeezed.
>
> (The 366 million oz. that they need to buy back does not count short positions
"over the counter", nor does it count "pool accounts" or unallocated silver
storage, nor silver certificate programs, nor does it count failed silver
deliveries from corrupt coin dealers. )
>
> Three hundred and sixty six million ounces is a lot of silver when the world
mines only about 650 million ounces of silver per year, and when world industry
consumes more silver than that each year. Thus, the shorts can't get 366
million ounces of silver from the mines; as that silver, and more, is already
being purchased.
>
> A mere 50 million ounces of silver being bought by investors in a year caused
the price of silver to double from about $7/oz to $14.
>
> If the silver does not exist to buy, a real buying frenzy and panic could
break out.
>
> A short squeeze took place when the silver price hit $50/oz. in 1980. That
squeeze was ended when they changed the rules to allow no new long positions!
(And when the Fed allowed interest rates to rise above 20%!)
>
> The last time we saw a mini short squeeze in silver was around 1997, when
Warren Buffet put an end to the squealing and panic of the silver shorts (and
caused them to really worry) by announcing that he had invested less than 1% of
Birshire Hathaway's net worth in silver. That caused the silver price to rise
from about $5 to $7 very fast.
>
> A short squeeze drove palladium prices up from around $250/oz. to $1000/oz.
back in 2000, due to temporary failed Russian deliveries (that resumed). That
short squeeze ended when the TOCOM paper exchange put limits on the daily price
changes, and let contracts be settled for cash, instead of palladium.
>
> A short squeeze drove nickel prices up to more than double, to $23/lb. in June
last year. That short squeeze temporarily ended when they ruled that it was
illegal for two of the largest holders of physical nickel in LME warehouses to
own nickel, and had to sell!
>
> But unlike the other two times in silver, there might not be any major
billionaire for the shorts to falsely "blame." And they might not be able to
change the rules. This time, there might be a real shortage! They might have
to blame themselves for being so reckless as to sell silver that does not exist
to a world that consumes more silver than it mines.
>
> We might see silver prices continue the parabolic move up. We might see
failed silver deliveries with cash settlements. We might see further panic for
real silver. We might see panic among industrial users who must buy silver or
shut down their businesses. We might see the end of the NYMEX exchange itself.
We might even see officials from the Commodities & Futures Trading Commission
(CFTC) going to prison!
>
> Why might the CFTC officials go to prison? Because they lied, and continue to
point to the same lies to justify their inaction and incompetence. In May 2004,
they lied, saying that manipulation in silver could not exist as long as there
was unrestricted access to the market by longs (p. 5), but in the same report,
they admitted that position limits prevent longs from entering the market (p.
8)!
>
> Michael Gorham, author of that report, voluntarily resigned 3 weeks after
writing it, in 2004.
>
> That is why I continue to point out that there are position limits in silver
contracts at the NYMEX. Position limits are the achilles heel of the world's
fraudulent paper and electronic monetary system. Position limits are trade
barriers and unfair, and are clearly the opposite of free market principles.
Billionaires who would take on the desperate silver shorts need to know about
that obstacle, so they can figure out how to overcome it.
>
> Position limits were imposed to protect the silver shorts (but that's not
working, just like all trade bariers backfire), and they are bleeding money to
the tune of $366 million dollars for every dollar that the silver price rises.
And if they cannot or do not cover, then they lose $3.7 billion for every rise
of $10.00/oz.! And in case we go over $100/oz., they lose $37 billion for every
$100 rise in the silver price (if they can't cover.)
>
> Here's a great article on the silver to gold ratio:
>
> A study of the silver to gold ratio shows quite clearly why the price of
silver should be about $100/oz. right now, or more.
>
> Right now is not a time period of business as usual. A short squeeze is a
very unique event. It's unusual and rare.
>
> This is the beginning of what could be the event that has been long predicted
by myself and many other physical silver investors. This is exactly why you
need physical silver in your own safe, and why you should not trust any form of
paper promises, certificates, or pool accounts, nor should you trust anyone to
hold your silver for you.
>
> You ought to get silver now. No delay. Not even one day. Get cash from your
bank, and get yourself to your local coin shop before they close their doors to
the public. I'm serious. No joke. Act now. This is the beginning of what
could be the long awaited major panic crunch time.
>
> Buying silver ought to be your top priority right now. In fact, the situation
is so dire, that if I had a job and a 401k, that I'd seriously consider quitting
my job to cash out the 401k to invest in silver; especially if the 401k contains
more than a year's salary.
>
> If you order silver over the internet or mail, then don't order all your
silver at one time. Instead, spread out your orders among several dealers, or
spread out over time, in case they begin to fail.
>
> The conditions were so ripe for this short squeeze, that this is why I got my
silver long ago, and this is why I prepared the following information, long in
advance:
>
> http://find-your-local-coin-shop.com/
>
>
>
> Sincerely,
>
> Jason Hommel
> www.silverstockreport.com
>
>

NEW CARS FOR ME!

God did the biggest surprise blessing in my life! Two new cars in one day! A buddy in Portland traded me this one of a kind 2003 Cadilac for some of my coins. The car is low mileage and was owned by his buddy the owner of all the "Oil Can Henry's. It has more bells and whistles on it that I can't even begin to figure out how to use. On the way home, Anita pulled into the Howard Huges musuem where they were doing a photo shoot on a 1952 Packard like the one Howard Huges drove. I told them that I would love to own a car like that. They said it was owned by an old man in Arizona who is in serious health and was thinking about selling it on ebay. I asked them to call the old gentleman and see if he would sell it to me! The price was so ridiculously low that I couldn't believe it so I bought it on the spot. They drove it here all the way from Arizona with no problems. It is beautiful and runs perfect with only 10,000 miles on the engine and transmission! The upholstery is perfect and the paint only has a few tiny unoticable chips here and there. Now, I have a super problem of where to put them since my garage already has two cars in it. So now they are in the driveway.
I am posting the one of a kind Chevy Impala that I didn't end up trading for coins. The guy told me it would probably bring about $100,000 on Barrett_Jackson auction, but that was a little too rich for my blood and Anita thought the car was UGLY. She thinks all cars of that age are UGLY!

THE BEST PIZZA ON EARTH!

I thought Galucci's Pizza in Lincoln City, Oregon was best UNTIL I tasted my Grandson-In-Law, Steve Young's pizza! He made about 4 kinds, but we liked his tomato mushroom with jalepenos and crushed red peppers the best...WOW!! We played Canasta in our hotel room and I was delt an 11 card straight! The odds on that must be a million to one! They wouldn't change the game to Poker so I could win.

FAREWELL PARTY FOR JOHN & ANITA

Anita and I took Debi, Curtis, Christian, Steve, Kristina, and their girls to Abuelos for our last weekend in Phoenix before heading up to Oregon. It made me sad to think of our fun times coming to a close with the Phoenix family. The old grandpa (Abuelo) at Abuelos tried to comfort me. The U.S. Treasury had the largest display of currency ever shown to the public. Billions of dollars were displayed with Secret Service and armed guards everywhere. The U.S. Mint & Bureau of Engraving's show director had an officer unlock for a few moments a display of an uncut sheet of $100,000 bills used between Federal Reserve Banks but never circulated amongst the general population. Then the director posed for a photo with his wife holding the money. I happened to be at the right place at the right moment and asked to have my picture taken with the money too. They told me "no" at first, but with persistence before relocking the money in it's glass case, they cleared me for one quick photo. I was the only person they allowed to be photographed with it!! For a moment I held a million and a half dollars in the nation's largest denomination bills ever printed. They bear the picture of President Woodrow Wilson. Other denominations from $10,000, $5000, $1000 and $500 bills were displayed as well as over a billion dollars in U.S. Treasury bonds. What a thrill I had!!

ANOTHER AWESOME GRANDSON!

Joe and Heather (daughter) Diemert's son, ADAM, just graduated from the Coast Guard boot camp. When I look in the water, they said I will be able to see fish that you can't see without the glasses because of the way these new-fangled sun glasses refract the light. Also, if there is any moisture in the atmosphere you will see it colored in the most beautiful rainbow hues. In other words dull scenery can become vivid colors if there is smog (fog and smoke) in the atmosophere or just plain unseen moisture.
I photographed a scene yesterday without my sunglasses on--then I shot the same scene with my special sunglasses placed over the lens of the camera, so you could see what I see!
